Recruitment for Directors
Experienced in filming movies or short films, with unique and remarkable visions on movie making, and skillful story-telling techniques. Interested parties please send us your resume and your previous works.

Recruitment for Script Writers
Please submit a short synopsis, with less than 3 pages, together with a scene breakdown, not exceeding 10 pages. Emphasis should be placed on the stories with fascinating subject matters, for example, to reveal the human nature, to discuss on socio-cultural phenomena or how people react towards social changes etc. Action elements are flexible, e.g. Chinese kung fu, kickboxing, judo, karate, Thai-boxing or any other type of martial arts can also be included.

Copyright Issue
The participant shall warrant that all work rendered by him/her are original and he/she is the sole owner of all literary and other material including without limitation all ideas, treatment and script and the same have not been copied wholly or substantially from any other works or materials, and does not infringe upon or violate the rights of privacy or any other rights of any kind or nature whatsoever of any person or entity. The participant shall indemnify and hold harmless Focus Films Limited from and against any and all liabilities, claims, costs, damages and expenses arising out of or in connection with a breach of any of the above. Upon receipt the consideration given by Focus Films Limited, the participant undertakes to assign and transfer to Focus Films Limited any and all rights of every kind in connection with the above work. The participant also agrees that Focus Films Limited shall have the sole discretion and non-restrictive rights to exploit and develop the above work by any media and in any territories.

Guideline for Application
All applicants must specify clearly your personal contact. All scripts submitted should be in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese or English. All video clips should be in WMP or MPG format.

All works/ scripts collected are only for the internal screening purpose and will not be returned to applicants. Focus Films Limited reserves all rights on the final decision of the recruitment. Selected parties will be informed to join our project within 2 months from the closing of the application.
